About Me
I am a broadcast journalism student at the University of South Carolina who is passionate about sports media. My skill set in media is broad and includes: videography, photography, writing for broadcast and print, video editing, social media, producing and graphic design. I have been working towards a career in journalism since my sophomore year of high school.
My love for sports began much earlier, in Indianapolis. I first became a fan when my parents took me to Pacers and Colts games. I could recite the Pacers' starting lineup at two years old.
In high school, I photographed and wrote recaps for the team's football games. More often than not, I was one of the few people remaining by the end of the game (my beloved Maroons never won more three games in a season.) My time on the sidelines of Texas high school football alerted me to the interesting stories and people behind the game. This experience solidified my dreams of being a sports feature and long-form producer and reporter.
